FH-ALPHA-MIL-RIDER-v1
Military Member Personal Capacity Rider.
This rider applies to active duty service members, Reserve / National Guard members, military academy personnel, DoD civilians, defense contractors, veterans using non-public military information, military spouses / community members acting near military organizations, and anyone whose participation could create the appearance of military, DoD, unit, school, command, or government endorsement.
1. Personal capacity only
Military Tester participates solely in a personal, private capacity and not on behalf of the United States Government, Department of Defense, any military branch, command, installation, unit, academy, school, agency, contractor, or official program. Military Tester does not represent that the alpha program is approved, endorsed, sponsored, procured, recommended, or supported by any government or military entity.
2. No official resources or endorsement
- Do not use government devices, government networks, government email, official social media accounts, official channels, official titles, uniforms, insignia, unit logos, command names, DoD marks, or duty time for alpha participation unless expressly authorized by the applicable authority and Company.
- Do not imply official endorsement or procurement interest.
- Do not recruit service members through official channels, chain-of-command pressure, unit meetings, duty communications, or government systems.
- Do not provide operational, classified, controlled unclassified, deployment, readiness, mission, unit, training, location, security, medical, or personnel information that is not lawfully public and authorized for disclosure.
3. Military health and records restrictions
Military Tester must not upload DoD, VA, TRICARE, military medical, readiness, fitness test, deployment, injury, command, personnel, or official health records unless Military Tester has the legal right to do so, the data is personal to Military Tester, the workflow is expressly enabled by Company, and any required military / privacy permissions are satisfied. Company may reject or delete such records at its discretion.
4. Chain-of-command and ethics rules
Military Tester remains responsible for compliance with all military, command, ethics, OPSEC, information security, social media, outside activity, endorsement, and professional conduct rules. A disclaimer does not remove Military Tester's personal accountability for inappropriate disclosures or conduct.
